GRIZZLY – AWOL Volume Two – Never Gonna Rest

Born in South West London on the 24th March 1987, Grizzly is a talented MC, Rapper, Studio Engineer, Singer and Producer who started his musical career back in 2003 at the age of sixteen. Coming from a strong musical family background, Grizzly is actually the son of Mandingo, the producer behind Sugar Minnott’s 70’s reggae classic ‘Every Little Thing’. In 2008 Grizzly released his debut project ‘AWOL Volume 1 – New Face’ which was sold independently on the streets of London and but created a buzz nationwide. He has worked with acts such as Killa P of Cemetery Warriors, Typah, and Big Narstie of NAA and co -crew member and number one UK rising reggae star Majah Tunder, and is considered to be one of the ‘next to blow’!

What gives Grizzly instant appeal is his talent to be diverse seeing him able to rock on different tempo’s, vibes and genres including Bashment, Grime, Rap, RnB and Pop. This was witnessed in 2009 when he released a nine-track promo entitled ‘Jus A Promo’, which saw him ride various styles of beats. Now in 2010 Grizzly unleashes ‘AWOL Volume 2 – Never Gonna Rest’ which is released on Grizzly’s twenty-third birthday on March 24th. Unlike ‘AWOL Volume 1’ this follow-up mixtape is purely Grime and it’s exclusive to UK Record Shop for the first month of release.

So far this mixtape has been described as ‘his best work to date’ and surely really big things should arise from this release. Grizzly is slowly but surely rising and he needs the support of all the people who love his music to get him out there.
